Paddlesport apparel maker Immersion Research has named Jess Whittemore to the newly created post of technical projects manager. Whittemore will oversee all technical gear production and development at IR. He comes to IR after seven years as operations manager at Mountain Surf. Longtime whitewater kayakers remember Whittemore as the creator of the sport of squirt boating and his Aramid whitewater boats.
