Bucking the trend of shrinking advertising dollars, Hooked on the Outdoors reported a 20-percent increase in advertising pages from 2000 to 2001, as well as a 12-percent increase in total advertising revenue for the same period. Hooked on the Outdoors magazine (www.ruhooked.com) is published six times a year, and the company reports that it reaches more than 500,000 readers per issue.
