The Colorado Outward Bound School announced today that it has received a $50,000 grant from REI to help fund the construction of a $100,000 climbing wall covering 1,600 square feet in its Golden, Col.-based American Mountaineering Center headquarters. Outward Bound estimates that 50,000 people attend courses and educational programs at the Alpine Mountaineering Center each year.
