Canoe & Kayak Magazine has entered into a membership/subscription agreement with USA Canoe/Kayak (USACK) that will boost the bi-monthly magazine’s paid circulation by having it delivered to all USACK members as a part of its annual membership package. USACK is the official governing body of canoe and kayak racing in the United States and is responsible for fielding the best American canoe and kayak racers for both national and international competitions, including the Olympics. The agreement is expected to increase Canoe & Kayak's paid subscriber base by about 5-percent this year and as much as 10-percent in 2003, according to Bernard. Canoe & Kayak is currently the only audited paddlesport publication. The magazine reported a qualified paid circulation total of 67,000 for the latter half of 2001.
