Six bicycle groups each received $500 grants from the IMBA/Clif Bar Trail Preservation Grant program, totaling $3,000 donated by Clif Bar to this initiative. This latest round is part of a series of Clif Bar-sponsored IMBA grants that began last year, designed to support projects that preserve and enhance trail access, promote environmental education, and inspire conservation in the mountain bicycling community. The six groups receiving grants include: SHARE Mountain Bike Club, Orange County, Calif.; Great Divide Cycling Team, Helena, Mont.; Bridgerland Mountain Bike Patrol, Salt Lake City, Utah; Methow Valley Sports Association, Winthrop, Wash.; Yellow Breeches Racing/New Frontiers Sprockids, Carlisle, Penn.; and Vermont Mountain Bike Advocates, Waterbury, Vt.
