Albany International Corp., manufacturer of PrimaLoft, is expanding in Europe. The company has appointed Richard Ebert national sales manager for Germany. Ebert, a resident of Munich, will oversee the outdoor and household textiles market there and build long-term relationships. Albany has marketed PrimaLoft, an alternative to down, in Europe since 1997, but the appointment of Ebert marks a continued expansion there, particularly in Germany.
