Southeastern trails clubs, trails volunteers and land managers met this April to begin planning and mapping a trail network that will link 5,000 miles of hiking trails.

Southeastern trails clubs, trails volunteers and land managers met this April to begin planning and mapping a trail network that will link 5,000 miles of hiking trails from Kentucky and North Carolina to Florida. In the process, the Southeastern Trails Coalition was formed and given the mission of developing the vision for a region-wide hiking trail system.
