Tired of booking camping trips and finding the parks overcrowded upon arrival, or unavailable even when you’ve tried to book several months in advance? Here’s the problem: National and Provincial Parks no longer have the capacity nor the varied experience offering for the demands of Canada’s modern camping community. What’s more, campers and outdoor enthusiasts are missing out on all of the amazing outdoor space we have to explore here in Canada. Pitched has the solution.

We offer an online camping reservation service that connects campers to hosts. Our hosts are private property owners, and our campers become their guests for a fee that is far below the average cost per night of a traditional campsite. To find a campsite, campers simply search for a location and check the availability for a particular day. Users can also filter for features (i.e., Is the site on the water? Or is it accessible for RVs?). The properties are then shown on a map, and once users select a particular campsite, they can browse photos and reviews or choose add-ons, like firewood, biking gear, food, or canoes. Pitched campers can reserve instantly, pay online, and chat with their host. If they find it isn’t a good match, the reservation can easily be cancelled. No strings attached!

With growing support from our hundreds of registered campers and hosts, we have proven the value of Pitched in a market that is in desperate need of new places to camp, and different types of camping experiences. Why book six months ahead to have a site in a Provincial Park, when you could book a campsite on a farm or vineyard, on a beach or island, in a forest or awesome backyard, and be there as soon as this coming weekend? Pitched makes camping better.
