Description:
ESCHLER continues its dedication to eco-responsible function by introducing a technical fabric from 100% recycled polyester with an antimicrobial, OekoTex 100 certified technology. Thus, PCR Bioactive unites sustainability and functional performance.

ESCHLER was one of the first textile companies that became a bluesign® system partner and thus committed itself to an environmentally friendly production cycle. With its PCR Bioactive quality, the Swiss brand underlines its dedication to eco-responsibility. The “New Life” yarns are made of 100% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) Polyester. PET bottles are recovered through recycling and are then converted into high-quality fibres. Recycled PET drastically reduces the amount of necessary resources for the production using less energy and water than virgin Polyester yarn and needing no additional oil for its production.

PCR Bioactive features silver ions incorporated in the polymer of the fibres, which inhibit the growth of odour-causing bacteria. The fabric features a great elasticity, offers a fantastic moisture management and is extremely comfortable to wear – the perfect fabric, hence, for functional underwear, technical shirts, as well as performance garments for high-aerobic activities
