Sometimes, though necessary and understandable from a corporate risk and liability standpoint, rules and regulations can and often do run somewhat humorously counter to company culture. Such is the case with this recent email to The North Face employees from the company's loss prevention and safety department -- and remember, the company's mantra is 'never stop exploring'...
“Please remember that rappelling off of any object in or around the building is prohibited. Your safety and the safety of those around you is of the upmost importance.”
Does this mean TNF now needs to change the corporate mantra to 'never stop exploring except around company headquarters and associated buildings'?
