Liftopia.com Offers 150 Ski Resorts in North America Discount Lift Tickets
Winter travel plans ahead, don’t miss out on huge savings

San Francisco— September 10, 2010—Liftopia.com, the largest online seller of ski lift tickets will offer exclusive deals on discount lift tickets, lessons, and rental packages on the Liftopia.com web site, helping skiers and riders save up to 85% off the on-mountain rate.

Liftopia.com continues new partnerships with more than 150 ski resorts across North America for the 2010-2011 season. These resorts, including Winter Park, Killington, Cooper Mt, Mammoth, Sun Valley, and Stowe, and more. Liftopia.com partners directly with ski areas to offer the best available deal for any given day. Because customers buy date-specific, non-refundable tickets in advance, Liftopia is able to offer substantial discounts versus other outlets. Similar to online hotel pricing, the resorts themselves determine how many tickets to make available for each ski day and at what price the tickets should be offered.

Liftopia.com tickets are available all season long at varied rates, with prices and quantities fluctuating based on factors such as weather and snow conditions, day of the week, or even the price of gas.

“Liftopia.com users will find more resorts than ever to choose from this season. Despite the tough economic times, families have made it clear they still want to ski. With Liftopia.com, everyone can hit the slopes more often by saving money on vacation resorts as well as local mountains,” said Ron Schneidermann, co-founder of Liftopia.com .

In addition to the new resorts, Liftopia.com has review features that allow skiers and riders to make decisions based on feedback from others to determine the best slopes for their individual style. User submitted feedback is graded on skill level to help qualify each skier and rider’s experience.

“We are excited to offer deals at some of the biggest name resorts like Killington, Snowbird, Keystone, and Copper Mountain and also at many great resorts you may not have heard of before. Often, you can find amazing skiing at places that just don’t have the same marketing budgets as the more well known resorts. Finding the best values at all types of resorts allow you to avoid crowds and get out on the hill more often” said Evan Reece, co-founder of Liftopia.com.

Discount lift tickets will continue to become available as resorts open for the season. Tickets can generally be purchased up until the night before arrival, but early planning is encouraged as tickets do sell out, and resorts do raise prices.
