Dave Dolph Joins Oboz Team as Product Developer

(Bozeman, Montana, September 3, 2010) -- Oboz Footwear has hired Dave Dolph as Product Development Manager for the growing company.

Dolph comes to Oboz with a wealth of footwear experience, including working for Chaco, Pearl Izumi and Salomon. At Chaco, his particular focus was to reduce the environmental, materials, and resource impact of footwear manufacturing. Over the last two years, Dolph has consulted with emerging and start up footwear brands, offering a full range of product development services.

Dolph brings the full range of problem solving skills to Oboz, including design preparation and commercialization, costing, fit and durability test programs, and manufacturing interface.

“We’re pleased to have Dave aboard,” said Josh Fairchilds. “Oboz is now six employees strong, and Dave’s know how will give us more firepower on anything and everything related to creating Oboz shoes and boots.”

Oboz also recently hired Abby Lee to its customer service team.

Dolph, a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley, loves exploring mountain and deserts by foot, endurance mountain bike racing, and any form of two-wheeled transport. Dolph is already on the job at Oboz; he can be congratulated at dave@obozfootwear.com.
