Nikwax North America Hires Technical Field Services Representative

Seattle, Wash. (August 31, 2010) – Nikwax North America is proud to welcome Kelsey Hulse to the newly created position of Technical Field Service Representative, effective immediately. Moving forward, she will be a key ingredient in Nikwax’s recipe for retail success.

“I am extremely excited about Kelsey joining Nikwax North America,” said Ben Palliser, Director of Sales at Nikwax N.A. “She will be a tremendous asset in the field by supporting our key account partnerships.”

The Technical Field Service Representative is a new position at Nikwax. Hulse’s focus will be on staff training - not only about Nikwax and its products, but also on the importance of aftercare and why it is relevant to both the retail associate and the consumer.

“Education and retail training is an important component to our business. Bringing Kelsey onboard is exemplary of Nikwax’s relentless commitment to lead the aftercare category into new areas of growth,” explains Palliser.

Hulse brings strong footwear and apparel experience to her new position at Nikwax. She spent four years at REI and most recently at a Seattle-based footwear stored called Market Street Shoes.

In addition to supporting key account partnerships, Hulse will also be managing the Nikwax Pro Outreach program and attending both dealer and grassroots events. The first of many events will include the 2010 Nor'easter, a three-day festival of sport, music and conservation from September 24-26, 2010.
