Life Fitness complements its premium comprehensive strength-training family, Signature Series, with the addition of its new Signature Series Plate-Loaded line. The machines boast the aesthetics, ease-of-use, and heritage that Life Fitness and Hammer Strength products are recognized for today. The company will be debuting the first six pieces of the Signature Series Plate-Loaded line at the 2010 IHRSA Trade Show, with six more machines being introduced later this year.

Created to offer elegance and superior industrial design, the Signature Series Plate-Loaded line accents the glamour of existing Life Fitness Signature Series strength-training products. Recognized for its approachability, Signature Series will now provide a more complete total strength-training solution perfect for exercisers of all levels, including: benches and racks, cable motion, single stations and plate-loaded.

“Signature Series is our most comprehensive premium strength solution, offering a beautiful, yet dependable, strength-training workout,” said John Stransky, president of Life Fitness. “The plate-loaded machines also boast the superior biomechanics and heritage for which our Hammer Strength plate-loaded machines have been recognized over the last 20 years.”

The machines offer the independent, converging and diverging movements of the world’s original plate-loaded equipment, Hammer Strength. Designed for a variety of users, the Signature Series Plate-Loaded line was optimized to fit 98 percent of the global population. Exercisers also have an easier time getting into a correct, comfortable position because of the products’ ergonomically sound design. Every piece in the plate-loaded line features pictorial placards to enhance ease-of-use.

The line features commercial-grade, flat oval and D-shape tubing consistent with the existing Signature Series family of products. Each piece in the family was put to the test in the Life Fitness reliability and biomechanics labs. The entire line reaches global standards and is biomechanically sound.

The equipment is available in nine different frame colors and can be customized, including a two-tone accent. Upholstery for the machines’ contoured pads is offered in 30 different colors.
