Gibbon Slacklines Announces New VP of Sales

BOULDER, COLORADO– Gibbon Slacklines, manufacturers of slackline kits distributed exclusively by Canaima Outdoors in North and South America, welcomes Emilio Torres as Vice President of Sales.

Torres comes to Gibbon with over 20 years of experience in the snowsport, bike and outdoor industry. Employing his retail background, sales experience and aggressive style Torres is charged with developing and managing the North and South America sales force. Gibbon is currently distributed in twenty US states, British Columbia, Yukon, and Ontario Canada.

“Gibbon Slackline kits are a very unique product with tremendous growth potential, they are exciting, fun and beneficial for everyone. Torres is the founder and former president of Oilme Bikes and Boards, specializing in cycling and snow sports he grew the company into a global brand. Torres has served as Director of Sales for Sherpani as well as Director of Sales Operations for Crocs. One of twenty original employees, Torres was a key player in creating Crocs global brand recognition and industry leader status.

Gibbon launched its North American distribution in May 2009 to an overwhelmingly positive response. Gibbon expects to see continued rapid growth with the addition of Torres as the public availability of Gibbon Slacklines increases.
