3point5.com Surpasses 200,000-User Benchmark

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (Feb. 08, 2010) – 3point5.com, a producer of interactive, content-rich online retail training across a variety of sporting goods industries, announced this week that it had surpassed the benchmark of 200,000 registered retail professionals.

As of this week, more than 200,000 retail employees registered to learn online about what they’re selling, qualifying to buy Outdoor, Hunt/Fish, Snowsports, Team Sports, Bike, Golf, Apparel and Footwear products at steep discounts by passing “Edu-Games” on what they’ve learned.

That 3point5.com hit the 200,000 user milestone was not surprising to Dawson Wheeler of Rock/Creek retail in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

“At Rock/Creek, 3point5.com has been an invaluable resource to keep staff engaged in the learning process.” Wheeler said. “Product knowledge and insight allow us to distinguish ourselves from the competition, making this one of the most valuable tools available to us.”

The innovative online retail training model is attracting both specialty sports shops with just a few employees and larger, nationwide sporting good retailers alike. 3point5.com recently partnered with Cabela’s and Performance Bicycles to provide training for thousands of retail associates.

The new benchmark validates a core 3point5.com belief: that highly-trained retail salespeople are the most effective tool for converting customers in the highly-competitive retail environment.

“In the retail food chain, no player is more influential than retail salespeople when it comes to influencing customer behavior,” said Duncan Robins, CEO of SwarmBuilder. “That 3point5.com has collected 200,000 registered retail users truly validates our business model and demonstrates that our company is filling a real need among manufacturers and retailers alike.”

The milestone is just the latest reached by SwarmBuilder, which was named 7th fastest growing company in Utah in November of 2009 by MountainWest Capital Network at the 15th annual Utah 100 Awards.

In the same month 3point5.com, a SwarmBuilder service which produces retail training for manufacturers, announced it had users working at 20,000 different retail locations.
