Director of Planning, Purchasing & Logistics-Black Diamond Equip

Responsible for the overall forecasting of consumer needs, planning of production outputs for both hard and soft goods, purchasing of all raw materials and finished goods, global logistics, warehousing and distribution of all product.

Education
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics
 
Preferred:
MBA with emphasis in Operations Management
 
Work Experience
Required:
3 years in a global logistics and planning environment
 
Preferred:
5 years in a Production Planning position with intensive vendor and employee management experience.
 

Skills and general experience: High level of business computer skill is mandatory, including Excel, ERP/MRP and word processing. Management, time management, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Experience in purchasing, planning, and troubleshooting a must. Extensive global travel experience – with an emphasis on Asian based supply chains is required.
