The Trailhead and Trailhead Cycle and Ski, an independent specialty outdoor and bike shop located in this central Colorado Rockies town, is relaunching its website with an online store powered by Ensign Systems’ POS•IM, a leading Point of Sale and Inventory Management software and ecommerce solution provider.
The new site is designed to enable Trailhead customers near and far to shop online for some of the outdoor and bike industries’ leading brands of apparel, gear and accessories. The Trailhead’s stellar record of exceptional customer service continues online where visitors can take advantage of the Trailhead’s Best Price Guarantee, a liberal return and exchange policy, and the popular Bonus TrailMiles customer loyalty reward program.
“We’re not trying to go up against the huge Internet outdoor sites,” said Trailhead owner Keith Baker. “Our goal is for our online store to be an extension of the same wonderful experience customers enjoy when they visit us in Buena Vista. We’re a real shop, staffed by genuine outdoor enthusiasts in an authentic mountain town.”
While the new site is a step toward a new brand identity for the Trailhead, a popular feature from the old Trailhead site has remained. Baker’s Will o’ The Wisp blog is the place customers go to catch up on news, events and the issues that matter in Buena Vista, where Baker is also an elected town councilman.
To help celebrate the launch of the new site, the Trailhead is offering 10 percent of any online purchase through Dec. 24.
Providing sales, expert consultation and maps, the Trailhead has been Buena Vista’s legendary outdoor store since 1972. Visit The Trailhead & Trailhead Cycle and Ski at http://www.thetrailheadco.com
