SNEWS® Live: New product vendors make most of Summer Market '08 despite challenge of location

SNEWS® Live: Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2008 took a slightly different turn this year. With several companies expanding their presence at the Salt Palace Convention Center and booth space at an absolute premium, show organizers housed new exhibitors across the street at the Energy Solutions Arena (ESA), formerly known as the Delta Center.

Anyone willing to cross the street had a chance to meet new vendors and see some really cool gear, gadgets and clothing. But the distance from the main exhibition floor put a crimp in the plans of many displaying their products at the show for the first time. SNEWS® Live ventured out to the ESA to stroll the aisles and connect with exhibitors. We uncovered many innovative products, as well as a bit of discontent.
