Marketing Director

The GoLite Marketing Director is a key member of the Senior Management team. Responsibilities include both the development and execution of GoLite’s overall brand and marketing strategies in support of the Company’s strategic business objectives.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the senior marketing position in the Company, the Marketing Director is the champion of, and steward for, the GoLite brand on a worldwide basis. The position is responsible for the development of all marketing strategies in support of the brand.  The position will manage an internal staff of two and be responsible for all agency relationships (creative, PR, web, etc.). Plays a critical role in the planning and execution of all marketing initiatives supporting our sales efforts, including workbook development and tradeshow brand collateral. Partners closely with the Product Team to develop product level go-to-market strategies and photography. Owns website development and maintenance and all online sales efforts. P&L responsibility for the Marketing department.   
 
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have 5+ years experience, ideally in the outdoor market. A master’s degree or equivalent is highly desired. Candidates with a proven track record of successfully taking a brand through a major growth phase will be given preference. Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be an infectious communicator of the brand. Should be tech savvy and have extensive experience with online marketing.  
 
REPORTS TO: President.
