General Summary and Responsibilities:
Assist the Credit Manager with account receivables, credit, collections, customer service functions and various administrative projects.

Essential Functions:

• Mail invoices and statements to customers.
• Filing.
• Place customer collection calls in a friendly and professional manner. 
• Researching and resolving customer debit memos, and short ships, etc.
• Maintain customer master files and data.
• Various administrative projects that may be assigned.

Education/Certifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Skills:

• Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
• Must have good verbal & written communication skills in English.
• Must be able to prioritize a high volume of tasks.  Multi-task.
• Must have good customer service and negotiating skills.
• Must have strong ability to follow up on assignments.
• Must be able to perform 10-key by touch and have strong computer skills.
• Strong telephone skills and etiquette.
• Must be able to effectively handle difficult situations when collecting for accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Knowledgeable of Washington State Collections laws preferred.
