As a member of the Sales team, the Sr. Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the sales department. Managing a national technical representatives (rep) force, all retail sell through reporting and assortment planning. Providing leadership in planning all sales meetings and tradeshows, helping direct the management of sales samples and overall sales reporting, and a liaison to Company’s operations, credit, and customer service team. Some of your primary duties include:
· Implementing and managing The North Face’s technical rep workforce.
· Becoming a central “focal point” for sales communication for the sales force.
· Overseeing and managing effective sample processing procedures.
· Managing the RFSM (Retail Floor Space Management) initiative which includes Retail Sell Through reporting, assortment planning and visual floor planning.
· Managing sales operational initiatives for trade show and sales meeting planning.
· Developing and managing a sales force intranet site, centralizing all communication and resource needs for the field reps.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual a BS or MBA in Management/Operations and a minimum of 10+ years of related professional experience within the Industry. Experience in analyzing financial statements and cash flow forecasting and outdoor industry experience is a plus. Must have a proven track record in process improvement and logistics, strong experience working within a constantly changing environment is necessary. Must be task oriented while able to focus on the bigger picture and longer-term gain. Proven ability to form effective teams.
