Appalachian Outdoors, in State College, PA, is looking for a motivated, responsible buyer for women’s outdoor clothing, equipment, accessories and footwear to assist the owner and head buyer. We are a locally owned outdoor specialty store devoted to camping, backpacking, travel, trail running, skiing, snowboarding, travel, and climbing. Lines we carry include North Face, Patagonia, Mountain Hardware, Burton, Columbia, Horny Toad, Ride, K2, Volkl, Rossignol, Osprey, Eagle Creek, Volcom, Sierra Designs and many others. This is a full-time position and will involve travel to trade shows several times during the year. We will consider hourly compensation or salary, and medical benefits are available after six months with vacation and bonus program participation after one year.
