Softgoods Sales & Product Coordinator - Mammut Sports Group
Working directly for the North American Sales Manager, this position plays a key role in the successful communication and coordination between sales, marketing, customer service and purchasing.  Duties will involve elements of sales, sales support and management, purchasing, merchandising, product development and product costing.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

           Work with North American Sales Manager to actively sell Mammut’s clothing and footwear categories.

           Support Sales Manager for presentations and information to key accounts.

           Maintain complete and up-to-date knowledge of Mammut’s products in assigned categories and train US personnel on them.

           Maintain complete and up-to-date knowledge of important competitors in assigned categories.

           Coordinate / order all seasonal samples necessary for sales force, trade shows, pr and marketing.

           Prepare seasonal worksheets, price lists and special offer sheets.

           Work with Sales Manager and Marketing Coordinator to develop and implement merchandising/pos strategies/tools for national trade shows and dealer support programs.

           Keep Sales Reps, Territory Managers and Customer Service personnel informed on/with product delivery dates, product line changes (in-line and samples) and „available-to-sell“ (ATS) and Closeout lists.

           Maintain (additions / deletions) computer product database and reporting system in assigned categories.

           Present assigned categories at North American sales meetings and to North American dealers in support of sales force.

           Arrange for special make-ups / editions (corporate sales and uniform programs) for customers.

           Review and track seasonal orders from customers and create accurate reporting systems for sales force to gauge success.

 

Requirements:

           3-5 years of sales and merchandising experience.

           Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, team player. 

           Above average verbal and written communication skills. 

           Proven record of achieving sales, distribution and profit targets.

           Above average skills with Microsoft excel and ability to manipulate multiple data sources into comprehensive reporting system.

           Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. 

           Active outdoor’s person with general knowledge of products offered.
