Independent Sales Reps - All Regions - Lippi USA

Summary

Lippi USA is the exclusive source for Lippi-branded outdoor gear and apparel in North America.  Lippi Outdoor (www.lippioutdoor.com), based in Santiago, Chile, specializes in highly technical outdoor gear and apparel featuring true innovation and a unique blend of technical aspects and Chilean design.  Founded by renowned mountaineer Reinaldo Lippi nearly 25 years ago in the Chilean Andes, Lippi is the most technically accomplished brand to emerge out of South America and features among its most innovative products the Selk 'bag Sleep Wear System. Designed by and for mountaineers, Lippi has leveraged its technical abilities to develop gear for most outdoor activities (hiking, mountaineering, snow sports, etc.)  and now sells a complete line of men’s and women’s apparel, sleeping bags, tents, packs and accessories.  Lippi Outdoor now sells its products on five continents and has realized over 400% growth the last two years alone.

 

Lippi USA has begun selling the patented and award-winning Selk ‘bag Sleep Wear System with great success and will begin selling its apparel lines into North America this summer following extensive success in Europe.  Demand for our products has proven exceptionally high among outdoor specialty retailers and we need experienced sales people to help us close and manage these accounts.

Responsibilities

1.  Attendance at regional sales representative trade shows

2.  Assisting customers with merchandising displays (particularly for Selk ‘bag)

3.  Regular submission of standard activity reports

4.  Regular communication with and feedback to management team

5.  Occasional submission of sales plans

6.  Adherence to acceptable standards of business conduct

 

Requirements

1.  High School or equivalent secondary education diploma (post-secondary education preferred)

2.  At least 3 years experience selling to specialty outdoor retailers with an extensive current account base in this segment

3.  Do not currently represent direct competitors (complementary lines encouraged)

4.  Strong attention to detail

5.  Strong computer skills with basic business applications
