SNEWS® Live: When it comes to loosening up tight and inflexible muscles, sometimes there's only so much stretching can do. Even in mindful practices like yoga, the body often resists your best efforts to assume moderate to difficult poses.

Fortunately, a therapeutic body re-education program is becoming more widely available in communities around the country. Called Body Rolling, this technique uses basic equipment -- a small plastic ball about the size of a cantaloupe -- to re-train tight and calcified muscles back to a state of optimal conditioning.

Created by New York-based yoga instructor Yamuna, Body Rolling has the potential to improve both physical well-being and overall athletic performance.

SNEWS® Live spoke with Yamuna on the phone to tell us more about her method that claims you'll roll muscle tension right out of your body.
