SNEWS® Live: Rugged casual shoe company Keen Footwear wants you to come along on a ride to help raise funds for the Conservation Alliance. If you're heading to Outdoor Retailer in August that is, why not travel by bike? Starting at its Portland, Ore., headquarters, the folks at Keen hope other outdoor professionals will join them to make the 1,000-mile trip to Salt Lake City and help raise awareness -- and a little cash for the Conservation Alliance -- for the preservation of wild places across the country.
The event is called Hybrid-Pedal, and for two weeks this summer, conservation fans can put rubber on the road and spin their wheels for a good cause. SNEWS® Live talked with Keen Foundation manager Chris Enlow to learn more.
