Nite Ize, Inc., designer and manufacturer of Innovative Accessories, introduces the first L.E.D. Upgrade Kit for the AA Mini Maglite® flashlight. There are millions of AA Mini Maglite® flashlights in use today; however, many of these standby flashlights have laid dormant over the years due to broken incandescent bulbs and quick battery drain. Until now. The two-pin, three-bulb L.E.D. module from Nite Ize easily replaces the standard incandescent bulb in the AA Mini Maglite® with a higher performing white, red, green or blue L.E.D. light. MSRP: $8.99. For those with larger Maglites®, Nite Ize offers the L.E.D. Upgrade for C and D Cell Maglite® flashlights. MSRP: $9.99.

In addition to producing a better quality light, the L.E.D. Upgrade extends AA battery life up to 20 hours, which is four times longer than the incandescent bulb. For larger flashlights, the L.E.D. Upgrade extends the life of 2 through 6 C or D cell Maglite® flashlight batteries up to 10 times longer than the standard incandescent bulb. Consumers will appreciate saving money on new batteries as well as not having the hassle of replacing batteries and bulbs so frequently. The L.E.D. Upgrade module is also shockproof.

The L.E.D. Upgrade for the AA Mini Maglite® is available in four colors to suit a variety of needs and uses. White L.E.D. is best for general use. Blue L.E.D. enhances detail. Green L.E.D. increases night vision sensitivity, and Red L.E.D. also preserves night vision and peripheral vision.

The white L.E.D. Upgrade is also available with a Tail Cap Switch upgrade. The Tail Cap Switch allows users to conveniently turn the AA Mini Maglite® on and off with the push of a button eliminating the need to use two hands to twist the flashlight on and off. MSRP: $9.99.
